People often see problems and come up with solutions. Then they do something about that problem. Their process, though, is not usually
carefully thought out. While an engineer will carefully design a bridge to meet the traffic needs and to hold up to the physical environment. Social change
agents usually just jump in.
And most of the time what they do makes an obvious difference.
But is this approach the most effective? Is it the most cost-effective? Are there more important problems that are being missed?
We at Community Empowerment Research have thought through the steps needed to make the most efficient changes.
